"Upon receiving your masonry barbecue, immediately check for any transport damage. Even if the packaging is undamaged, you must open the transport packaging in the presence of the driver. If anything is damaged, it is imperative to note this on the transport document and immediately report it to the freight forwarders/drivers for confirmation by signature and stamp. We also recommend taking photos to document the defect/damage. Failure to do so will result in you losing the right to receive compensation for any product damage or defects. Without the above transport document, no freight forwarder, insurance company, or Intergard can be held liable for transport damage. Neither transport damage nor defects reported later will be recognized by a freight forwarder or insurance company, so we cannot be held liable afterward. It is in the best interest of all parties that you exercise your right and check everything upon arrival. The driver may not appreciate the time you need to perform a proper check, but if this is not done, you lose all right to compensation."
