The implication of not doing the above is that you lose the possibility to receive compensation, for any possible product damages or shortcomings. Without the above transport document - No freight forwarder, no insurance company nor Intergard can be held responsible for transport damages. Neither transport damages nor shortcomings reported later, are recognized by any forwarder or insurance company – so subsequently nor can we be held responsible. It is in the interest of all parties, that you exercise the right and check everything upon arrival, the forwarder may not appreciate the time you need in order to make a proper check, but if it is not done, you will loose all right for compensation.”
