Thermo Plant Cover for Olive Trees, Palms and Oleanders

Mediterranean plants such as olive trees, palms and oleanders can be sensitive to prolonged periods of frost. When a large plant cannot easily be moved indoors or to a frost-free location, a thermo plant cover provides a practical option for additional winter protection.

The cover is placed over the plant and provides an additional protective layer. The plant should not be completely sealed airtight for long periods. During milder temperatures, the cover can be loosened or temporarily removed when necessary.

For additional winter protection, see our winter covers for plants, fleece and frost protection and jute winter protection.

How to Use the Thermo Plant Cover

1. Remove loose or particularly vulnerable branches that could be damaged by the cover.
2. Carefully place the thermo cover over the plant.
3. Make sure the plant is sufficiently covered.
4. Secure the cover so that it does not move in windy conditions.
